After 5-Year Drought, Gopher Baseball Earns NCAA Tournament Bid

The NCAA announced the arena of 64 teams Monday, and the Gophers earned the No. 2 seed in the College Station Regional hosted by Texas A&M. The Gophers will comport yourself No. 3 seed Wake Forest in description to June 3 at 3 p.m.


The subsidiary two teams in the Gophers region are host and No. 1 seed Texas A&M and No. 4 seed Binghamton. The Gophers earned their berth off of a 34-20 season considering a 16-7 conference scrap book. They earned the peak seed in the Big Ten Tournament, but were eliminated after losses to Iowa and Michigan. The Gophers last made the tournament in the 2010-2011 season.
